Is a little chaos actually good for us?
the word means “a state of total confusion with no order”. Thanks Cambridge dictionary.
So I’m going to go with NO, IT ISN’T! is that it? Are we done?
No! Oh, alright then. Admittedly, there are some people that love a bit of chaos. Like extremists, political loonies* and the like.
In their life, waking up and not having a bit of chaos to look forward to [sic] would be unthinkable.
I mean, you can’t have people walking around expecting peace and quiet! Order? Do me a favour, they would yell [they like shouting a lot], I only order in a takeaway and if it doesn’t taste good enough, I’ll attack the place!
You can tell the Stock Market loves a bit of chaos, look at the oil price. Some greedy people will be loving it but for 99% of the population, well, we’d like a bit of order if it’s all the same to you.
Even the universe loves and reflects order. And even though Hubble got the speed of the expansion of the universe wrong – tough luck there Dr. Hubble! – it’s speed is just the same as when it was 1st created. Therefore, day follows night, you can send a telescope into space and it will pretty much go where you send it. The seasons will continue to follow exactly as they have for millions of years and we can all have dinner when we want, at a time of our choosing.
So, chaos? You can keep it. I’d vigorously avoid it if I was you! Get some order in your life and if that doesn’t quite work, order a biryani and a crate of lager, sit back and watch out for some chaos from the neighbours!

*”loonies” English colloquial word for people who seem to be mad (a.k.a. bonkers). It was derived from the idea that the moon, i.e., ‘lunar’, influenced the sanity of some suggestible souls. I know, the rich tapestry that is the English language.
