What is your favorite type of weather?
With a light sea breeze – it’s hard to beat. And if it was in Fig tree bay, Cyprus, then that would be dreamy. 🥰
Sitting in my favourite restaurant, drinking a cold beer, eating moussaka. Ahhhhh!
That’s not to say that other weather is no good. Oh no, for instance, on a warm Spring day, caught in a sudden shower but it’s pleasantly warm and the wind isn’t blowing a hoolie*, that’s equally enjoyable just in different way.
It’s a great excuse to get out of your wet clothes, put the kettle on, get the bacon and eggs on and generally chill (not in the “I’m catching a cold sense!”) in some warm slobbing** out clobber***.
Winter weather should be banned altogether of course. Notwithstanding the ‘climate change’ fraternity I just can’t be doing with -10° ta very much.
There it is, short and sweet. Hope you’re having a lovely day!
*”hoolie” a Scottish adjective for blowing a gale, enough to lift you off your feet but not to send you disappearing into the grey yonder!
**”slobbing” a colloquial English word that describes loosely fitting clothes and a laid back, I don’t give a rat’s ass what’s happening I’m stopping and that’s that.
***”clobber” this is also colloquial English and refers to your general attire or appearance. Your clobber could be a suit with a smart shirt and tie but generally it is just your everyday comfy clothes.
No dictionaries were harmed in the notations made above. Furthermore, all vegans should try a good bacon and eggs sarnie before condemning those of us who firmly believe it’s God’s gift to mankind. See Al Murray for further information.
