From Greek = manly. Grrr! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.

Andreas in Greek, Andrew in English. Android to refer to a human-like robot.

Significant? You’d best ask others about that. I try to be kind, helpful, honest and useful. Then again, a famous teacher who said that people should love each other and treat them as you would like to be treated got nailed to a piece of wood.

When I look around I see less love but I’m not going to be like that. Whether that means I’m a better person or not time will tell.

At least my name’s not Donald. So I’m glad about that. Not Judas either. Tick.

Reputation is at the core of this article really. What’s in a name? As the Bard said. “By any other name would smell as sweet “. Juliet was talking about a rose. The play was about the reputation of the 2 warring families.

But a rose is a rose. It’s not bothered what people say about it. It grows, matures and blossoms. In itself it’s worth is plain to behold.

Can that be said of people? By our words and deeds we’ll get the reputation we deserve. Thankfully a higher power will decide if it’s good or not.

Hopefully you find my musings amusing. Have an amusing and fulfilling day!
