20 watts but endless possibilities

What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

Have I finally flipped, no. The human brain has a capacity of 1 to 2.5 million gigabytes!!

So the fact that you only get 70 or 80 years to use it just doesn’t make sense.

I want to learn the guitar, the piano, saxophone and drums. Not because I want to be a one-man band. Music is a great enrichment in life. We were made to enjoy it.

I want to walk among the giant sequoias and gaze in wonder at their lofty beauty.

I want to learn how to sail and travel around the Caribbean and snorkel around with the fish and dolphins.

I want to go to New Zealand and walk the length of the 2 islands and see all the wildlife.

I want to hike the length of South America and witness the magnificent Andes, the Amazon basin, the Argentinian plains.

Then I want to paint it all and try to reproduce what I’ve seen. But also develop my ability to carve and make beautiful objects – just because I can.

I also need to share that with the people I love. Let them see the stunning beauty of what’s around us.

The human brain has that capacity to do all that and more and never, that’s right,  never run out of ideas and challenges.

I want to live forever. How am I going to explore the universe unless I can master physics, design and invent the kind of propulsion or whatever is needed to get from here 100,000 light years away?

I need to live forever to even begin to touch the minimum number of what I’ve described.

Anybody want to join me? Come on,  it’ll be a blast. Your brain can do it, so can mine.
