If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?

I love this picture. Astronomers had been looking up for centuries but recently, with the help of new technology, they found a black patch in the universe.
It was 1cm square (that’s about quarter of an inch in old money) and it was black, nothing to see. Nada, zilch, a big fat zero. Being astronomers they got very excited.
You see, they thought it was possibly the earliest beginnings of the universe and all that was there was gas or . . .? They didn’t know. So they asked the Web Ellis space telescope to spend a 100 hours looking at this black square that seemed to be void of any sign of anything.
What they got was the above photo. At the last count, there’s more than 10,000 galaxies, yes, that’s right, galaxies containing 100’s of millions of stars. Yet they thought there was nothing to see.
The lesson: don’t assume you know all you need to know. There’s more to life than just taking and hoarding and not giving anything back. As you walk through the garden of life, sure there are weeds, some dog owner hasn’t cleared up their pets mess, some crazy kids have painted all over the subway tunnel – BUT don’t forget to smell the roses.
Be grateful for what you have, share it if possible with the ones you love and don’t get hot under the collar about the stuff you’ve got no control over.
Smell the roses people.
