West facing since you ask. I want to stop and think and admire a magnificent sunset behind my huge cedar tree full of birds saying goodnight to each other.
Comfy chair, hmm. Well upholstered but not too squidgy. I want to read but not sleep! Footstool of course, and a side table that’s just the right height for my evening snifter. Cheese and biscuits of course.
Books, yikes. ‘To the writing of many books there is no end’ said a wise man once. As long as there’s a decent sci-fi, a detective or two and a book about quantum. Always wanted to learn about that ever since my washing machine engineer said he’d learned all about it. Much to my amazement. You don’t normally associate washing machine repairmen with quantum physics – or do you?
